Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Steady After 50 (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including the website at steadyafter50.com, the Steady Pro membership, the 7-Day Challenge, and any associated mobile applications. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Not Medical Advice

Steady After 50 provides general wellness information only. It is not medical advice and does not replace the advice of a qualified healthcare professional. Alex Smith, the founder, is not a doctor, nurse, dietitian, or other licensed healthcare provider. Nothing on this site, in our newsletter, in our mobile application, or in any member content should be construed as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult your physician or a qualified healthcare provider before starting or changing an exercise program, diet, weight-loss plan, or any medication — including GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound.

3. Accounts and Memberships

To access member features (Steady Pro or 7-Day Challenge), you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to update it if it changes. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Payments and Refunds

7-Day Challenge ($9 one-time): This is a one-time, non-refundable purchase unless required by applicable law. You retain lifetime access to the materials.

Steady Pro (monthly or annual subscription): Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting info@steadyafter50.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your membership
• Reproduce, distribute, or resell any of our content without written permission
• Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt our systems or services
• Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content through any interactive features

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Steady After 50 — including text, graphics, logos, PDFs, programs, and application code — is owned by or licensed to Steady After 50 and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

The Steady After 50 name and logo are trademarks of Steady After 50. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any wellness outcomes will be achieved. Individual results vary and depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steady After 50 and its founder, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services — including but not limited to health outcomes, personal injury, or data loss. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access member content ends immediately. For paid memberships, we will issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of your current billing period if we terminate your account without cause.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Multnomah County, Oregon.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered members of material changes by email. Continued use of our services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
